Denicka Davis is the owner and Director of High Voltage Dance Academy and has been dancing since the age of five. She joined her first competitive team at six and knew early on that her dream was to open a studio where she could inspire dancers the same way she was inspired.

With 15 years of teaching experience, Denicka opened HVDA in 2018 to bring high-quality training and a positive, encouraging environment to her community. Throughout her dance career, she earned several top distinctions, including Miss Encore, Senior Miss Spotlight, and three selections to the prestigious Encore Elite Dance Team. She has trained with acclaimed industry professionals such as Meisha Lee, Ashlee Nino, Mandy Moore, and Marco Germar.

Denicka has a special love for working with HVDA’s youngest dancers and a passion for sparking their excitement for dance from the very beginning.

Cassidy Gempler specializes in our competition team along with workshops during the summer. Cassidy an ambitious and hard working performer, is a California native who moved to Los Angeles to continue her professional career in dance. Cassidy was selected to be a two year work study student at Millennium Dance Complex, as well as being involved in their five week summer intensive with artists such as Matt Steffanina, Wildebeest Adam and Brinn Nicole. Cassidy is a graduate of Loyola Marymount University where she trained in tap, hiphop, ballet, modern and jazz working with choreographers such as Maggie and Maureen Gonzalez, Rosalynde LeBlanc Loo and Rihanna`s choreographer, Jason Myhre. She is a member of hiphop dance crew Kuumba Beatz and has performed at LMU`s Best Dance Crew and Midnight Madness. Cassidy is currently living in Denmark pursuing her dream of being an international choreographer and help spread her knowledge and love to dance to students all around the world.
